Structural Design Certificate Offers Flexible Path to Career Advancement

Anoka Technical College is helping meet the growing demand for structural drafting and design professionals by offering a new Structural Design certificate beginning in fall 2026.

The certificate is designed to help students build advanced skills in structural design, drafting and Building Information Modeling (BIM). It is ideal for working professionals and graduates of architecture and construction-related programs who want to advance their careers without pursuing a full degree.

The 16-credit program can be completed entirely online in just two semesters, providing a flexible option for students balancing work and other commitments.
